Taiwan's deputy NSA to attend global summit in India
Hsu Szu-chien, Taiwan's deputy national security adviser, will speak at the Raisina Dialogue in India. This marks a significant public appearance for a senior Taiwanese official at an official event in the country. Hsu will join a panel discussion on treaties, alongside officials from Poland, the US, and Germany. Previous Taiwanese officials attended the event but did not have public roles. This visit comes amid increased Chinese military activity near the Taiwan Strait. Hsu recently met with members of President Donald Trump's transition team during a trip to the US.
