Tamil Nadu CM Stalin to open Kalaignar Centenary Park in Chennai on October 7

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will inaugurate the Kalaignar Centenary Park in Chennai on October 7, 2024. The park features a glass garden, horticultural museum, zipline, musical fountain, and aviary, among other attractions. Entry fees are set at ₹100 for adults and ₹50 for children, with additional charges for specific activities. The park spans 6.09 acres and was reclaimed by the Tamil Nadu Government after a 33-year legal process. The park's development cost is ₹25 crore, following the transfer of land from the Agri Horticultural Society. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the park in February 2024.
