Tamil Nadu will not raise Aavin milk prices

The Minister for Dairy Development, R.S. Rajakannappan, stated that the State government will not raise the price of Aavin milk. He made this announcement in the Assembly after AIADMK MLA A.P. Jayasankaran expressed concerns about milk prices. Rajakannappan highlighted the government's efforts to improve the dairy sector. He mentioned that both the milk producers and consumers of Aavin are struggling financially. Therefore, the government has decided against increasing milk prices. In response, Jayasankaran urged the government to provide better support for milk producers. He noted that they are facing many challenges in production and need assistance with procurement.
