Tan Cheng Bock denies aggressive behavior allegations as PAP plans to submit evidence to police
SINGAPORE: Tan Cheng Bock, chairman of the Progress Singapore Party (PSP), denied allegations of aggressive behavior by PSP volunteers, including slapping and shirt-pulling. He called for evidence from the People's Action Party (PAP) and stated that PSP does not condone violence. PAP's Low Yen Ling responded that evidence will be submitted to the police. She acknowledged previous encounters between PSP and PAP volunteers but emphasized that the current issue arose from PSP's claims about a January 4 incident. PSP secretary-general Hazel Poa also recounted a similar incident from November, where PAP volunteers allegedly followed PSP members. She expressed a desire for mutual respect between the parties during outreach efforts.
