Tata's Croma appoints Shibashish Roy as new CEO effective November 2024

Tata's Infiniti Retail has appointed Shibashish Roy as the new CEO of Croma, effective November 18, 2024. He will succeed Avijit Mitra, who is set to retire in March 2025 after leading the company for nine years. Roy, currently the Deputy CEO, has overseen key areas such as store operations and e-commerce. His experience is expected to support Croma's growth in the competitive electronics market. Croma operates over 550 stores across India and has been expanding its presence in suburban and tier-2 cities. The company combines physical retail with a strong online platform, including its website and the Tata Neu app.
