Tatiana Holt excels in middle-distance running at Slippery Rock
Tatiana Holt, a freshman runner from Kiski Area, has adapted to a middle-distance role at Slippery Rock University. After recovering from a concussion, she helped the women's cross country team win a conference title and contributed to the indoor track team's success in the distance medley relay. Holt ran the 800 meters in the relay, helping secure a gold medal. Initially seen as a longer-distance runner, she excelled in shorter races due to injuries affecting her training. She also qualified for the PSAC championships in the open 800, finishing 13th. With support from teammates, Holt is focused on improving her performance in outdoor track. She aims to qualify for the PSAC championships again and is optimistic about her future in the sport.
