Taylor Swift and Tyla shine at MTV Europe Music Awards
Taylor Swift was the standout winner at the MTV Europe Music Awards, taking home four awards, including best artist and best video for "Fortnight." She thanked fans via video while on her Eras tour in North America. South African singer Tyla won three awards, including best Afrobeats and best R&B. The ceremony marked a return after last year's event was canceled due to the Gaza conflict. Rita Ora hosted the show and paid tribute to late singer Liam Payne, who died last month. Other winners included Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, and Eminem, with Busta Rhymes receiving the global icon award.
