Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys are collaborating with Adobe to sell new AI tools to clients. These Indian companies are trying to catch up with competitors like Accenture in offering generative AI services. Adobe is well-known for its creative software, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro. The company made $21.51 billion last year and expects to increase that revenue to $23.55 billion this year. Adobe is considered one of the top 100 most valuable companies globally, with a market value of $169 billion. In contrast, TCS is valued at $154 billion, while Infosys is worth $76 billion. This difference is partly because software companies like Adobe can charge higher prices due to their unique products. TCS and Infosys are using Adobe's AI platform to deliver automation tools to businesses. TCS's Ramachandran Srinivasan mentioned that integrating Adobe's services helps with marketing and digital commerce. Similarly, Infosys is using Adobe's technology to enhance its marketing solutions, pulling in significant revenue from AI-driven projects. In the last financial year, TCS earned $1.36 billion from its communication sector, while Infosys reported $1.7 billion. However, both companies are facing challenges in securing larger AI deals due to economic factors like inflation and geopolitical tensions. Adobe has already partnered with companies like Air India and HDFC Bank to implement AI. Adobe's global CTO, Eliot Greenfield, emphasized the importance of ethical AI in building trust with clients. Analysts believe that while the marketing sector may not sustain long-term revenue growth, successful generative AI projects are critical for the future of Indian IT firms. They expect significant impacts from these projects to be seen in about 18 months.
