Teacher arrested for molesting 11-year-old in Vadodara

A 24-year-old teacher, Nitin Chauhan, has been arrested in Vadodara for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old girl. The incident occurred during a tuition class where Chauhan teaches. On March 15, Chauhan reportedly sent the other students out of the classroom under the pretense of giving them a treat. While the girl was alone, he is accused of molesting her. After returning home, the girl informed her mother about the incident. The management of the tuition center was then notified. The girl's mother approached the police on March 17. Police registered a case against Chauhan under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act. He was arrested on March 18. Authorities also conducted medical tests on him as part of the investigation.
