Teacher recruitment notification will be issued in April

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that the recruitment notification for schoolteachers will be issued in April. He stated that the recruitment process should be finished by June, ahead of the new academic year. Naidu emphasized that his government is committed to fulfilling its promises made during the elections. During a conference with district collectors, Naidu explained that releasing the teacher recruitment notification was one of his first actions after taking office last June. He acknowledged that it has taken time to improve the state’s administration and finances, which he claimed were damaged by the previous government. Naidu criticized what he called "wild dreams" that he believes harmed the state. He mentioned that the TDP-led NDA returned to power as voters were dissatisfied with the prior government's policies. Naidu urged district collectors to meet the expectations of citizens and warned against arrogant governance. In addition, Naidu announced a new financial assistance scheme called "Talliki Vandanam" set to launch in May. This initiative aims to provide Rs. 15,000 to mothers of school-going children before the new school year starts. The Chief Minister also assured that the Polavaram project will be completed by 2027. He indicated revival plans for Amaravati, the state’s capital, noting that tenders for major works are finalized. Naidu confirmed that funding is being secured from various international banks to support these projects, and he assured that taxpayers will not bear the burden of the debts incurred. The government plans to repay these debts through the monetization of government-owned land.
