TeamGroup unveils high-speed CAMM2 memory modules with dual-channel efficiency

TeamGroup has launched its new Compression Attached Memory Module 2 (CAMM2), which offers high-speed DDR5 performance. CAMM2 operates in dual-channel mode while occupying a single slot, enhancing system efficiency and reducing power consumption. The T-Create CAMM2 modules achieve impressive speeds of up to 117GB/s for read operations, with a CAS latency of CL34-42-42-84. However, they require compatible motherboards, which are currently limited, posing a challenge for widespread adoption. TeamGroup plans to release the first-generation CAMM2 modules by Q1 2025. More motherboard options may become available as manufacturers introduce new CPU platforms, potentially increasing CAMM2's market presence.
