Tectone criticizes Twitch after unexpected anime streaming ban
Twitch streamer Tectone is upset after he received a surprise ban while watching anime. On March 20, he was banned unexpectedly, believing he was following the rules. Twitch generally does not allow streaming of copyrighted content, but there have been exceptions. Tectone, a former member of OTK, expressed his confusion on social media. He pointed out that he was using a site that allows users to watch anime for free. He questioned what rule he could have broken, calling his ban “crazy.” In his posts, Tectone also referenced another streamer, Hasan, who faced less punishment after showing controversial content. Tectone jokingly said he would avoid anime streams and instead act like a "platform terrorist." He hinted that he might be unbanned by March 21 and suggested that there might be a different reason for his ban. Tectone promised to explain more during his next stream. This situation is not unique. Just two days earlier, another streamer, Olivia Monroe, faced a puzzling ban related to a scheduling mix-up with Ubisoft.
