Teddi Mellencamp received unexpected support from Vicki Gunvalson
Teddi Mellencamp has received a thoughtful gift from fellow reality star Vicki Gunvalson during her battle with cancer. On the March 20 episode of her podcast, "Two Ts in a Pod," she shared her surprise at getting a care package that included a coloring book, crayons, body butter, a candle, and soft socks. Mellencamp expressed her gratitude for the gift, which was accompanied by a supportive note. It read that she is protected by prayers and positive energy. Mellencamp found it surprising because Gunvalson has often been vocal about not liking her. She joked about needing glasses to read the message and emphasized how much the gesture meant to her. Teddi revealed that she had not heard from Dorit Kemsley, a close friend, but was surprised to hear from Gunvalson instead. She noted that their past disagreements made the gift even more unexpected. In February, Mellencamp underwent surgery to remove tumors from her brain and is now recovering before starting radiation treatment. Mellencamp appreciated the support during a tough time, saying, "A lot of people didn’t do nice gestures, so it really meant a lot." She looks forward to thanking Gunvalson in person and hopes that any past conflicts between them can be put aside. Kemsley has yet to respond to Mellencamp's comments regarding their lack of communication.
