Tejashwi Yadav criticizes Nitish Kumar in Bihar elections
Tejashwi Yadav, a leader of the RJD party, has increased his criticism of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as the state prepares for assembly elections later this year. On Wednesday, Tejashwi humorously referred to Nitish as a "Pair Pakadva Mukhya Mantri," suggesting he is more concerned with his political position than with the needs of Bihar. Tejashwi accused Nitish of allowing important institutions to move from Bihar to Karnataka, specifically mentioning the Indian Institute of Millet Research. He claimed that Nitish prioritizes his own power and does not care about the state's welfare. "Bihar needs a leader with vision, not someone focused on their chair," Tejashwi stated. In addition, Tejashwi expressed concerns over the government's apparent lack of interest in stopping migration from Bihar. He criticized the BJP, saying they did not respond to the relocation plans until he brought them to light. His remarks come as the Enforcement Directorate investigates his family in a land-for-jobs scandal. Tejashwi defended his family, calling the investigation a result of political vendetta from the BJP. He claimed that these actions would only strengthen their position and that they will form the government in Bihar. The BJP has also targeted the Yadav family, with Union Minister Giriraj Singh criticizing Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi's father, for being part of a "corrupt family." The political tension continues to rise as both parties prepare for the upcoming elections.
