Telangana experiences extreme heat with 25 districts above 40°C
Telangana is experiencing high temperatures, with 25 out of 33 districts recording over 40°C. The Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) reported that Rebbena, in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, reached the highest temperature at 41.4°C. Other hot spots included Bellampally in Mancherial at 41.3°C, and Adilabad Rural, Ghanpur, and Naspur, all registering 41.2°C. Additional areas like Mugpal (Nizamabad) hit 41.1°C, while Kubeer (Nirmal) reached 41°C. Hyderabad is also feeling the heat. Maredpally recorded 40°C, and nearby Ghatkesar noted 40.1°C. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that no major change in temperatures is expected in the next two days, but a slight drop may follow. For the next 24 hours, Hyderabad is forecasted to have a partly cloudy sky with morning mist and haze. Maximum temperatures are expected to be around 38°C, with minimums around 22°C.
