Telangana plans four new airports for development
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced plans for four new airports in addition to the proposed Warangal airport. The locations include Kothagudem, Jakkranpally, Ramagundam, and Adilabad. The central government is currently reviewing these proposals. Reddy emphasized the importance of air connectivity for attracting investors, noting inquiries made during his recent visit to South Korea. He stated that enhancing airport infrastructure is crucial for the state's development. Concerns were raised by CPI MLA K Sambasiva Rao about a potential conflict regarding the airport in Ramagundam instead of Kothagudem. Reddy reassured that the state remains committed to pursuing all proposed airport projects.
