Telangana promotes 15 Deputy Superintendents of Police

The Telangana government has announced temporary promotions for 15 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs). These officers will move up to the rank of Additional Superintendents of Police for the panel year 2024-25. The promotions are made under specific rules but are subject to any ongoing legal issues. Notable officers promoted include T.M.N. Babji, K. Sreekanth, and S. Srinivas Rao. Other promoted officials work in various departments related to security and traffic. All the promoted officers must report to the Director General of Police in Telangana. They have 15 days to take on their new roles. If they do not comply, they risk losing their promotions for this year.
