Telangana teachers to receive mental health training
Teachers in Telangana's Gurukul system will receive training on mental health to support students facing anxiety and depression. A two-day workshop will take place on March 17 and March 19, led by NLP trainer Mohammed Rafi. The training aims to strengthen emotional connections between teachers and students. It follows a study highlighting high rates of depression and suicidal thoughts among college students in India, linked to exam pressure and family issues. The workshop will cover psychological development, emotional awareness, and strategies for improving students' mental well-being. This initiative is part of efforts to address mental health challenges in educational settings.
