Telugu films set to release this summer 2025

This Ugadi weekend marks the start of summer 2025 with a vibrant lineup of Telugu films. There will be action movies, romances, and comedies ready for audiences to enjoy. The first film debuting on March 27 is the Telugu dubbed version of the Malayalam film L2: Empuraan. It features well-known actor Mohanlal. This film continues the story from the hit movie Lucifer. The competition heats up on March 28 with two new releases: MAD Square and Robinhood. MAD Square is a comedy directed by Kalyan Shankar and produced by Sithara Entertainments. The film follows characters from the previous movie MAD, promising lots of laughs. Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula, features Nithiin, Sreeleela, and cricketer David Warner. This film puts a twist on the classic Robin Hood story. Another film, 28 Degree Celsius, directed by Dr. Anil Vishwanath, is also set to release over the weekend, starring Naveen Chandra and Shalini Vadnikatti. This summer is expected to be busier than last summer, which saw fewer films due to elections in the area. Several much-anticipated films are on the schedule. These include Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan, HIT: The Third Case featuring Nani, and Kingdom with Vijay Deverakonda. Other films like Jack and Sarangapani Jathakam are also set for release. In mid-April, Odela 2, led by Tamannaah Bhatia, will hit theaters. This summer will also see competition from Tamil films and other big releases lined up for June, including a collaboration of popular stars in Kubera.
