Authorities in Ludhiana have intensified efforts to clean Buddha Dariya by taking action against dairy operators. Ten operators have been booked for dumping animal waste into the drain, following complaints from the municipal corporation and the mining department. Two cases were filed at Jamalpur police station against the operators, including individuals from Bhukhari Khurd, Khasi Kalan, and Tajpur villages. The complaints led to FIRs against several dairy businesses in the area. Concerns about official negligence in managing these violations were raised in a recent meeting led by cabinet minister Dr. Ravjot Singh.
