Police have raided three mobile phone shops in Singapore in a case involving SIM card registration fraud. The operation took place on March 5. Two men, aged 30 and 58, were arrested during the raids. If convicted, those involved could face significant penalties, including fines of up to S$10,000 (US$7,500) and possible jail time of up to three years.
