Ten women rescued from hidden lift well in Ahmedabad

Firefighters in Ahmedabad rescued 10 women trapped in a hidden lift well after they became stuck between the third and fourth floors. The lift was enclosed on all sides, complicating the rescue. The firefighters broke through a wall and cut a metal sheet to reach the women. The operation took about two hours, and all were safely extracted without injuries. Following the rescue, officials highlighted the need for emergency access points to lift wells in buildings to prevent similar incidents in the future.
