Teresita Sy-Coson marks start of BDO Corporate Center construction in Makati

BDO Chairperson Teresita Sy-Coson and CEO Nestor Tan held a time capsule ceremony on Friday to mark the start of construction for the new BDO Corporate Center in Makati. This center will join existing offices in Ortigas and a soon-to-open site in Cebu. The new complex will feature two towers with an innovative exoskeleton design, allowing for flexible spaces without traditional pillars. It aims to be the tallest exoskeleton building globally and has received a platinum mark for energy efficiency. Sustainability is a key focus, with plans to reduce operational energy by over 40% and recycle more than 70% of water on-site. The design includes green rooftops, an urban farm, and collaborative workspaces, enhancing the building's utility and community impact.
