Terrorist hideout discovered in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir

A terrorist hideout was found in a forest in Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir. Officials reported the discovery on Sunday, March 23, 2025. The hideout was located during a search operation by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the local police and the Army in the Bhalra forest area. During the operation, a pistol, three magazines, and ammunition for both the pistol and an AK assault rifle were recovered. No arrests were made during this search. The operation followed specific intelligence about suspicious movement in the area. Additionally, there is a separate ongoing search operation involving police, the Army, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in nearby Kishtwar district. This operation started on Thursday after villagers reported suspected terrorist activity in the area. So far, there has been no contact with the suspected individuals.
