The post gained popularity on Threads, receiving over 20,000 likes. It stated, "TESLA Manhattan closed permanently," but did not provide any evidence to back this up. A search revealed that the showroom is located at 860 Washington St. There have been no credible news reports supporting the claim of its closure. Tesla has also not issued any statements about this. The spokesperson told Lead Stories, “We’re not closed. We are open every day.” The claim was debunked on March 19. Recently, six people were arrested during a protest at the Tesla showroom. This protest focused on Elon Musk's leadership role in the Department of Government Efficiency.
