Teurlings Catholic and New Iberia won baseball games

In high school baseball and softball games on Monday, there were several notable performances. In baseball, Teurlings Catholic won against St. Thomas More with a score of 2-0. Other key games included Acadiana Renaissance beating Centerville 9-1 and New Iberia scoring a massive 23 runs against Delcambre, winning 23-1. Vermilion Catholic also had a strong showing, shutting out Gueydan 21-0. Opelousas Catholic defeated Port Barre 8-2, while Breaux Bridge topped Carencro 11-5. Rayne won a close game against Mamou with a score of 9-8. In softball, Patterson had an impressive 17-0 victory over Westgate, with M. Knight striking out 11 batters. South Beauregard also had a high-scoring game, defeating Rayne 19-6. Midland dominated Lake Charles Prep, winning by a score of 24-4. Lafayette Christian and Westminster-LAF also found success. Lafayette Christian defeated Beau Chene 12-6, and Westminster-LAF won against Sacred Heart 17-3. Overall, Monday's games highlighted strong offensive performances from several teams across different matchups.
