The Beaches achieve independent success in pop and rock
Jordan Miller and Eliza Enman-McDaniel, from the band The Beaches, recently discussed their music journey in an interview. Their latest single, “Takes One to Know One,” features serious themes wrapped in a light-hearted sound. Jordan believes this style makes pop music engaging and meaningful. The Beaches have experienced significant success over the past year. They achieved recognition on both pop and rock music charts, all while remaining independent after their previous label dropped them. Jordan shared that losing their label was frightening but led to new opportunities. He emphasized that taking control of their career allowed them to pave their own path. The band has exciting events planned for the upcoming months. They will perform at Coachella in Indio, California, from April 11-13 and April 18-20. They will also play at The Governors Ball in Queens, New York, from June 6-8 and at Osheaga in Montreal, Quebec, from August 1-3. Eliza mentioned they are working on a fresh setlist for fans, promising a special experience. Reflecting on their beginnings in high school, Jordan noted he wouldn’t change anything about their journey. He believes every step they have taken has brought them to where they are today.
