'The Knightling' releases on Switch August 28

A new fantasy adventure game called The Knightling will be released for the Nintendo Switch on August 28. Saber Interactive and Twirlbound announced this date recently. The game offers an exploration experience similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Players will control the Knightling, a hero-in-training on a quest to rescue their mentor, Sir Lionstone. Combat in The Knightling focuses on using a magical shield. Players can block, bash, and parry attacks while also performing powerful combos. The shield also allows for unique movement, like sliding and gliding, enhancing gameplay and exploration. As players journey through different regions of the world called Clesseia, they'll face challenging foes and solve puzzles. The game encourages players to prove that even the smallest heroes can accomplish great feats. While fans wait for the full game, a free demo is available on Steam for those who want to try it out.
