The Wombats announce UK and Ireland arena tour

The Wombats have announced a UK and Ireland arena tour for December 2025. This tour celebrates the release of their new album, "Oh! The Ocean." The band will kick off the tour on December 5 at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle Upon Tyne. They will perform in Birmingham, Bournemouth, Dublin, and Belfast before finishing on December 11 in Blackpool at the Empress Ballroom. The Snuts will be the supporting act for all shows. Tickets for the tour will go on sale on March 28, with a pre-sale starting the day before. In addition to this upcoming tour, The Wombats are currently on a spring tour, which includes stops in several cities like Nottingham, London, and Manchester. They also have a European tour scheduled that will take them to countries including France, Germany, and Sweden. Their new album features collaborations with renowned producer John Congleton and was inspired by a memorable family holiday. Frontman Matthew Murphy noted that playing to large crowds makes him feel more comfortable, as he prefers not to see individual faces in the audience.
