The Woolpack pub changes disappoint Emmerdale cast

Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has shared some big news about The Woolpack, the famous pub on the show. She revealed that there have been major changes made, leaving the cast feeling upset. During a recent chat on a vodcast, Lucy, who has played Chas Dingle since 2002, mentioned that she can no longer pull pints in The Woolpack. She explained that the pub no longer serves real beer. Instead, there is a non-alcoholic setup in the back of the set that mimics the sound of pouring beer. Actor Kelvin Fletcher, known for his role as Andy Sugden, was surprised by this news. He reminisced about the old days when Lucy used to pour him a pint on set. Lucy shared that they are trying to make it look like she is serving real beer, but it has not been successful yet. In the same conversation, Lucy talked about some of her toughest storylines on the show. She mentioned that portraying the loss of her baby, Grace, was particularly hard for her. She was going through personal challenges at the time, having just had twins, which made the storyline even more emotional. She highlighted the support from her co-star, Dominic Brunt, who plays Paddy Kirk. Lucy felt safe to express her emotions while acting, and being able to share those moments helped her cope during a difficult time.
