A massage therapist in Scotland has been found guilty of sexually assaulting ten women during their treatments. Alistair Bennie, 61, committed these acts between September 2017 and June 2022. The victims were all referred to him through his business, Alpha Holistics, which offered various massage services. The investigation began when two women reported his behavior to the police, prompting others to come forward with similar experiences. Some women described being assaulted in their own homes or at Bennie's residence. One victim recounted being touched inappropriately during what was supposed to be a calf massage. Bennie denied the charges, claiming he was telling the truth. However, the jury at Hamilton Sheriff Court took less than an hour to reach a guilty verdict on all ten counts. Sheriff Linda Nicolson noted the seriousness of the offenses and indicated that a prison sentence was likely. Bennie will remain free on bail until his sentencing in May. He has also been placed on the sex offenders' register and is banned from performing massages on the public.
