Theresa Biedermann named Head of Executive Claims, U.S

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has announced that Theresa Biedermann has been promoted to Head of Executive & Professional (E&P) Lines Claims in the United States. Biedermann previously led the company's Commercial D&O and Financial Institutions Claims. Robert Romeo, Head of Claims for North America at BHSI, praised Biedermann for her contributions to the company's claims service approach. He noted that she will work closely with underwriters to ensure excellent claims service for E&P customers and brokers. In her new role, Biedermann will manage claims for a range of products within the E&P Lines. This includes Commercial and Private Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance, Employment Practices Liability, Cyber Insurance, and others. Biedermann joined BHSI in 2016 as a Complex Claims Director. She has since held several senior positions within the company. She is based in New York.
