A thief in Bengaluru used a key kept in a shoe rack to break into a home and stole gold jewelry worth ₹3.5 lakh. The resident had left the key there while going to work. The thief, a habitual offender from Bhadravati, was arrested after selling the stolen jewelry. The police recovered the items. Bengaluru Police Commissioner B.
