Thieves steal cash and laptop from SUV in Bengaluru

In Bengaluru, a man reported that thieves broke into his SUV and stole valuable items. The incident occurred on Saturday night while Syed Shah Salahuddin, 42, was dining at a hotel in Devanahalli. Salahuddin and his brother had traveled from Hyderabad earlier that day. They were in Bengaluru to sell a franchise of their ice-cream business. After agreeing to a deal worth Rs 18 lakh, Syed received an advance online and had Rs 7 lakh in cash. He had placed the cash and his laptop in a bag inside the SUV. After stopping for dinner, the brothers returned to find their vehicle damaged. The rear windshield was shattered, and the laptop bag was missing. Police are investigating the theft.
