Thousands of volunteers are gathering in St. Paul, Minnesota, to build 30 all-electric homes for Habitat for Humanity's 38th Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project. This event coincides with former President Jimmy Carter's 100th birthday celebration. The project, hosted by Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, marks the largest development in Twin Cities Habitat's history. The Heights will feature 147 units designed for sustainability and energy efficiency, aiming for LEED Platinum Certification. This year's event returns to the Twin Cities, where the Carter Work Project was first held in 2010. Over 60 sponsors are supporting the initiative, which has inspired more than 106,000 volunteers since its inception in 1984.
