Threads introduces custom feeds feature to enhance user experience

zdnet.com

Meta's Threads has launched a new feature allowing users to create custom feeds, similar to one offered by Bluesky since May 2023. This feature lets users compile accounts and topics of interest for easier access. To set up a custom feed, users can search for specific terms and add related accounts. The new feeds will appear alongside existing options like For You and Following, allowing users to switch between them easily. Threads has gained over 200 million users, benefiting from its integration with Meta's platforms. In November alone, more than 15 million new users joined, partly due to people leaving Elon Musk's X.
