Three people have been arrested in Chennai for an attempt to set fire to a 59-year-old woman. The woman, named Nebisha, was sleeping in front of her house when the attack happened. She suffered burns on her legs and was taken to the hospital, where her condition is now stable, according to police. Nebisha lives with her daughter and grandson on Brick-Kiln Road. The incident took place on Tuesday night. Neighbors heard her screams and quickly came to help. They managed to put out the fire and transported her to a nearby hospital. Later, she was referred to Kilpauk Medical College Hospital for further treatment. Police launched an investigation after Nebisha reported the incident. They arrested 19-year-old Immanuel and two juvenile boys aged 15 and 16. During questioning, the suspects claimed that Nebisha often insulted them. Immanuel had previously set Nebisha's pillow on fire four months ago but was let off with a warning by the police. Immanuel is now in judicial custody after being presented in court.
