Three arrested in Ram Darbar stabbing death
Chandigarh Police have arrested three people involved in a stabbing incident that left a young man dead. The attack occurred on the evening of March 23, near the Tu Hi Tu Mandir in Ram Darbar. The victim, identified as Vivek, was stabbed multiple times. The suspects, named Suraj, Karan, and Anshi, are all residents of Ram Darbar. They were taken into custody on March 24, just one day after the stabbing. Police say the attack was linked to an old rivalry between the accused and the victim. The incident was witnessed by a friend of Vivek. After the attack, he informed Vivek's father, Ranvir Singh, who quickly went to the hospital. At GMCH-32, he met with friends who described what happened. They explained that Vivek and his friend had gone to a public toilet when the three attackers, armed with sharp weapons, confronted them. Despite the efforts of bystanders and medical staff, doctors declared Vivek dead upon arrival at the hospital. Police are now questioning the accused to gather more information about the motive and any other individuals involved in the case.
