Three Colorado campgrounds recognized among North America's best

Campspot has shared its 2025 award winners for the best campgrounds in North America. Three campgrounds in Colorado have been recognized this year. These rankings help campers find great places to stay as the camping season approaches. Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains in Granby is ranked No. 4 among RV campgrounds. It was also honored for glamping options and for being a great spot for first-time campers in previous years. Another standout is Big B's Delicious Orchard in Hotchkiss, which was named the No. 5 unique campground. Campers can enjoy shady spots under fruit trees while also enjoying live music during the summer. Ramble, a newer campground located near Great Sand Dunes National Park in Alamosa, has received the No. 5 spot for tent camping. This campground opened in 2023 and is planning to expand further, including a second site near Mesa Verde National Park.
