Three criminals arrested after shootout in Rohini

New Delhi: Three men were arrested after a shootout with police in the Rohini district. The incident happened on March 19 at around 10:30 PM. The police were alerted about the men planning to commit a crime in the Begumpur area. Officers set a trap and found the three in a stolen black Creta car. When police signaled them to stop, the men fired at the officers. In response, the police shot back. Two of the criminals, Govind and Krishna, were injured in the legs. The third criminal, Daud, was captured without injury. The police recovered two semi-automatic pistols, one live cartridge, and four used bullet shells. The stolen car was also taken back by the police. Govind, who lives in Sultanpuri, has been involved in over 70 criminal cases, including murder and robbery. Krishna, from Pitampura, has a record of more than 23 criminal cases related to robbery and carrying weapons. Both injured men were taken to BSA Hospital for treatment.
