Three family members killed in Shirur car crash

Three family members died in a tragic car accident in Shirur, Pune district, on Sunday night. The accident happened around 9 pm when a speeding container collided head-on with their private car. The victims have been identified as Kailas Krushnaji Gaikwad, 50, his 18-year-old daughter Gauri, and his brother-in-law Ganesh Mahadev Nirlekar. Kailas was driving with his wife Durga and their daughter from Wagholi to Nhavare. Durga Kailas Gaikwad suffered serious injuries in the crash and is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, which occurred on the Naharve-Talegaon Dhamdhere Road near Sarke Wasti.
