Three illegal immigrants charged after fatal Texas crash
Three illegal immigrants were arrested in Texas following a deadly car crash that resulted in one man's death. The incident occurred on Saturday night in Arlington. Police say the driver, 25-year-old Cesar Ramirez Castro, was intoxicated when he drove a Ford-150 onto the shoulder of I-20, hitting a parked vehicle and then crashing into a concrete barrier, which caused the truck to catch fire. When firefighters put out the blaze, they discovered a 22-year-old man dead inside the vehicle. Ramirez Castro has been charged with intoxication manslaughter and a collision involving death. He is also under an immigration hold. Two passengers in the truck, Marcelino Ramirez-Ramirez, 30, and Daniel Castro Zammarron, 24, were arrested for public intoxication. Both of them also have immigration holds. This incident follows another case involving an illegal immigrant in Georgia, who was charged with capital murder last week. He had entered the U.S. illegally in 2021 and faced delayed removal proceedings.
