Three Landa gang members arrested in Tarn Taran

Police arrested three members of the Landa gang after a brief encounter in Doda village, Tarn Taran district. This happened on Tuesday. Police seized 500 grams of heroin during the operation. One of the suspects, Ajaypal, was injured in the encounter and is currently in the hospital. His accomplices, Raunak and Deepak, have been taken into custody. The arrests followed a tip-off that the drug peddlers were in the area near the border. When police attempted to stop them, the suspects fired shots at the officers. In the return fire, Ajaypal was hit. Authorities are filing charges against the three suspects under relevant laws. Police continue to investigate the case.
