Three men arrested for gangrape in Debra

Three men were arrested for allegedly gang-raping a young woman in Debra, West Midnapore. The woman, who lives in Kolkata, was reportedly promised a job by one of the suspects she met online. In the second week of March, she traveled to meet the man at Balichak station. Upon her arrival, he and two others forced her into a car. The three men then assaulted her while driving. The survivor managed to escape and reported the incident to the police in Debra. Following her complaint, the three suspects were arrested and appeared in court on Saturday. They have been remanded to jail custody for 14 days as the investigation continues.
