Three students stabbed during school clash in Malappuram

Three students were stabbed during a clash at PTM Higher Secondary School in Malappuram. The incident took place on Friday afternoon after students finished their SSLC examination. The conflict involved students from the English and Malayalam medium sections. Three students were injured, suffering wounds to their heads and hands. Two of the injured students were taken to Manjeri Medical College Hospital, while the third was brought to Perinthalmanna District Hospital. All three are believed to have serious injuries. Tensions had been building between the two groups before the incident. The trouble escalated when a student, who had been suspended, returned to school to take the exam. After the exam, this student allegedly attacked three classmates with a sharp object. Reports indicate this student had a history of violent behaviour, which previously prompted a police warning.
