Thunderbirds lose 4-1 to Admirals in Springfield

The Springfield Thunderbirds faced the Milwaukee Admirals on Friday night and lost 4-1 at the MassMutual Center. The game was played in front of a sold-out crowd. The Admirals scored first with a goal from Grigori Denisenko just 4 minutes into the game. He took a backhand shot that found its way into the net. The first period was tight, with only a few shots on goal and good saves from both goalies. The Thunderbirds fought back in the second period.
