Thunderstorms expected in seven districts of Bihar
Patna experienced a sudden change in weather on Thursday morning, with light rain providing relief from rising temperatures. Many areas received rain along with some lightning and thunderstorm activity. This weather change made the day feel more pleasant. The meteorological department has issued an alert for rain, lightning, and thunderstorms in seven districts from March 21 to 23. Meteorologist S K Patel mentioned that this weather is caused by a western disturbance, which is expected to bring rain over the next few days. The districts set to experience these weather conditions include Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada, Jamui, and Banka on Friday. Buxur, Bhojpur, and Arwal will likely see similar weather on Saturday. Residents should prepare for strong winds reaching speeds of 30 to 40 km/h. Despite the rain and thunderstorms, temperatures in the region are not expected to drop significantly in the coming days. The weather office advises residents of various regions to stay alert and keep updated on weather changes to take necessary precautions if needed.
