Tigers lose 1-0, ending winning streak in Renton

The Centralia boys soccer team lost to Lindbergh 1-0 in Renton on Wednesday, ending their three-game winning streak. The Tigers gave up a goal just two minutes into the match. They struggled early but improved their defense as the game went on. In the second half, Centralia tried to come back and create scoring opportunities. However, they failed to find the net. Coach Noel Vazquez said they played better in the second half but couldn't finish their chances. Goalkeeper Alejandro Arevalo made eight saves during the game. Centralia had a total of 15 shots, with 12 on target. The Tigers, now with a record of 3-1, will play Black Hills next Tuesday in their league opener.
