After that, they can customize their profiles to showcase their graduation year, study subjects, and extracurricular activities. A recent survey found that 57 percent of young Indians aged 18 to 25 have formed relationships through dating apps. Among these users, many have dated or made friends with people they met online. Dating apps are a popular way for young people to meet others, often preferred over meeting in person.
