T.N. leaders celebrate Sunita Williams' safe return

Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin greeted astronaut Sunita Williams on her safe return to Earth. Sunita Williams, along with fellow astronaut Butch Wilmore, spent 287 days at the International Space Station. In a social media post, Governor Ravi expressed pride in their perseverance during their time in space. He praised their determination and resilience in facing challenges. Chief Minister Stalin echoed these sentiments in the Assembly. He noted the concerns for their health while they were in orbit but celebrated their hard work. He congratulated Sunita Williams and thanked those who helped return the astronauts safely. Former Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami and other political leaders also shared their congratulations.
